Ever since Carole was a young girl, she had a drive for helping families live harmoniously. This motivated her to earn a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Hofstra University in 1995. She then counseled women and became a nanny. Afterward, she settled into a career managing mental health clinicians at a call center for several EAP companies.
While pregnant with both of her children, Carole chose to have a Doula’s assistance in the birth process. She also subsequently reached out for lactation consultation. These experiences tapped a renewed desire to assist women and their families-but in a different sense. As a trained Postpartum Doula, Carole marries her doula work with her years of experience in counseling and family development to empower, support, and nurture new moms and their families after the baby’s birth.
Carole firmly believes the postpartum period is a crucially important time for mothers to establish a healthy bond with her baby. She is passionate about assisting mothers and their family’s transition into parenthood in the most comfortable way possible.
